I have studied Yoga since 2007 and taught since the fall in 2015. My first 200hr training was done through Naked Truth Yoga, only igniting my passion within health and wellness more so. The following year, in 2016 I started my 500-hr Yoga Teacher training through Red Door Yoga and started a one-on-one Reiki mentorship. In 2018 I completed my master teaching level in Reiki. In the fall of 2017, I took an 85-hr Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher training through Melanie Phillips which deeply changed my personal health and ability to incorporate individualized healing. I love integrating the wisdom of Ayurveda into all my work to help my clients achieve a dynamic state of balance, health and vitality according to their unique mind-body makeup. During January of 2016, I took my Doula training and Prenatal Yoga Teacher training. I studied under one of Vancouver’s most well known Birth Doula’s, Jessica Austin and Traditional Midwives, Gloria Lemay, through Wise Woman's Way of Birth. Their knowledge of an unassisted, hands-off approach gave me an understanding of what kind of, empowering, transformative experience I would like to promote through my work. I studied under retired Birth Doula and E-85-hr Prenatal Yoga teacher trainer, Lori Lucas in Vancouver, B.C for Yoga tailored for expecting and postpartum bodies. Currently I am enrolled in my third and final year studying Medical Herbalism at Pacific Rim College to acquire an in-depth exploration in the world of Herbalism, Nutrition and Ayurveda with a special focus on pregnancy, birth and infant support.
