I have specialized trainings in Ayurvedic Yoga, Hatha, Yin and Pre/Post-natal Yoga and know first hand the healing potential that yoga offers as a medicine within itself. |

Unlike other yoga practices Yin Yoga is a practice built off the the undoing or relaxing of the muscles of the body. Instead of holding poses the shapes unfold us, allowing a compression to build on the meridians and connective tissues of the body. Like acupressure this this practice is deeply nourishing to the nervous system, energy and creates resiliency in the mind. Traditional Yin is built off the linage of Chinese Medicine but I teach it with an Ayurvedic twist. I like to incorporate the traditional teachings of these medicines while helping to bring self-reflection, inquiry and restoration to the nervous system. This practice changes each year with the seasons, adapting to target different meridians, organs and energy systems of the body. Prenatal Yoga Series - Online
These classes are designed to help open up the body, build strength in the mind and connect you to your breath. With a focus on the lower body within the hips, back and legs, these classes will help relieve common aliments of pregnancy while helping to support you for an easeful childbirth. They are taught as a 4-part series building upon one another and creating a sense of community with the members.

Semi/Private Yoga
Taught in a therapeutic and individualized way these classes are designed to create a safe space for exploration of the poses with more one-on-one assistance. These semi private classes create more time and space for individual adjustments, therapeutic touch and body manipulation. A mix of Thai massage, intuitive stretching, energy work alongside gentle adjustments these classes will help the newcomer learn what the poses are supposed to feel like in the body and/or the veteran explore poses in a new way.
